I’d say yes.
Both were "team" oriented players. Each knew how to get their team-mates involved and inspired.

I would say that they had a chance to do it. But without that prolific scorer like Jordan, I don’t know. Magic and Pippen played really similar styles, offensively (obviously Magic did the better job), so I think they would kind of be bad for each other. They would cancel themselves out.

Well assuming you just plug in a prime Magic for all six championship years let’s see.
1991 – They played the Lakers, so they win? I don’t know I’ll give them that one.
1992 – Blazers, Bulls win.
1993 – Suns, here I think the Suns would have one.
1996 – Sonics, Payton slows down Magic and Sonics win most likely.
1997 – I’ll say Bulls take this one just barely in 7 games.
1998 – I’ll put my money on Utah in the rematch.
So I have them winning 3 rings, but also realize they would have had more finals appearances since Magic would be able to take out the Pistons and he wouldn’t have left for two years in the middle of their dynasty. So maybe they end up with six.
But I think the question was if you just made a substitution, and in those six finals appearances I say they take 3 if Jordan gets out for Magic.
