Their rivalry was something to see, great players that wanted to win over anything else. Two of the best players to ever suit up going head to head and trying to outdo each other. Fun times in the NBA.

it’s too bad magic had to make a comeback tour. It would have been so awesome if they went into the hall of fame together.

I’m like that I was born in Boston and yes I’m a big Larry Bird fan. I watched the whole entire live larry bird’s retirement ceremony on tv years ago. (probaby 1993) It was a best ceremony for him that day. I taped as well, but I lost that video many years later. I hope one day, i will be on dvd.

every year was great basketball back then. I’d like to give Philly some props here too. Boston-Philly playoffs were good.

I wish ESPN would offer Larry a job, imagine him and Magic, together on the same panel!
In my opinion, the 2 greatest players to ever play the game

they didnt go into the hall of fame together, Magic faked having HIV and came back to play.

@MoJo3446 I think Larry is a GM or something like that for the Pacers. Kinda a more important job than an analyst for ESPN.

@Francozilla Gasol since he’s been with the Lakers acts like he’s bad. Dirk is always show boating and talking after he scores. Duncan is the classiest player in the NBA by far. As far as Jordan, he explained what drove him to be a great player and if you noticed thanked everyone he supposedly disrespected for driving him to be what he became.
