what i love about Magic Johnson is when he had affairs with other woman, unlike other people like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, etc and they got caught, i love how Magic initially confronted his issue about having HIV, by not hiding it it, and being upfront about it to everyone about it!! It was beautiful how he handled it with courage and honesty. Its cool how he become a spokemen.

Um, Magic didn’t get caught cheating but he sure caught something else instead. MJ and Tiger got off easy.

The cure for HIV is money. Magic is worth $800 million. Thus, he has the money for the best medications.

@DookieWithCorn The reason he is still alive is not because he has the “cure” for AIDS. He never had AIDS, he HAS HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. The reason he has not contracted AIDS (the reason he is still alive) is because he is on very expensive antiretroviral medication that prevents HIV from turning into AIDS.

Ya’ll need to stop believing what ya’ll hear and see in the presses! There is already a cure for it! (e.g. Tetrasil)! However, the science on this pandemic is TOO COMPLICATED and too many FABRICATIONS…….

If it hadn’t for this situation, Magic Johnson would’ve bypassed the 30,000 point career mark and the total number of assists would have been UNBROKENED!

Magic is always so calm and in control, even when getting a disease that meant certain death back in the early 90’s… just like how he plays on the field

@ForgottenSoul700
Yeah, at that time that announcement was a death sentence. I mean, now we know so much more about it, but I am sure that people were terrified that he had infected them via sweat or whatever. I can remember my dad watching this on TV and I was just goofing off with some toys I had, but I do remember the press conference. It’s a shame, but what grace and class he had through it all.

for bring an h.i.v patient he’s out live the average hiv/aids patient. anyone else would have die 7 to 10 years after getting it. he’s going on to what 19-20 years the day he does die he’ll be on the world record for longest person living with hiv/aids. too bad shit happen for magic because he was the best b-ball player ever.
