The 91′ Lakers team ran into a buzzsaw in the Michael Jordan led Chicago Bulls.

The “Laker Girl” being referenced here is Paula Abdul.

She was a member of (and choreographer for) the Laker Girls, and was strongly rumored to be involved with Arsenio Hall . . . until she got married to Emilio Estevez.

I’m sad that there is no Arsenio Hall show anymore. His was “The Best” talk show, ever, in the business. Personnally, I think his guests were people that his fans wanted, and thrived to see. Disappointing that the powers that be don’t see what the fans do. Arsenio is the best. Thanks for posting.

I’ve always wondered how far they(the lakers) would’ve taken us(the bulls) if Worthy and Scott were 100% for the whole series. I think we still would have won, but it would’ve been alot closer.

TJHUNT! Wow great post. Got my homeboy and classmate (class of 77) …BUCK!!!!!!! (what his teammates called him early in his career). Buck done got fat now. I’d forgotten how slim he was during his playing days. Also gotta love his sense of humor…6:00 mark when he teases Arsenio about choosing the Laker girls! I liked how he said “Michael could celebrate until next year when the Lakers beat him.”

It was good to hear his competative fire after all those years, but I really doubt that their team was good enough to even make it to the Finals again. Even if they did, Phil Jackson was becoming more brilliant with adjustments and developing his own team. Just like in the ‘91 Finals, Dunleavy would’ve been no match and Magic legs would be even more worn out.
