LeBron James dissed by Michael Jordan Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley?! “There’s no way, with hindsight, I would’ve ever called up Larry [Bird], called up Magic [Johnson] and said, ‘Hey, look, let’s get together and play on one team,’” Jordan said after playing in a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada. The interview aired on the NBC telecast of the event. “But that’s … things are different. I can’t say that’s a bad thing. It’s an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys.” “We didn’t think about it cause that’s not what we were about,” said Johnson. “From college, I was trying to figure out how to beat Larry Bird.” bleacherreport.com “Mike and I are in 100% agreement on this,” said Jordan’s buddy, Charles Barkley, to the Arizona Republic. “If you’re the two-time defending NBA MVP, you don’t leave anywhere. Lebron brings more to the table as far as athleticism, Lebron also brings more to the table as far as scoring, but will Lebron pass the legend that is Magic Johnson when we compare their legacies upon Lebron’s retirement?

This is a hard one for me, a real hard one, I dont think Lebron will be able to have the type of complete career that Magic had. So I have to say No to my own question. I dont think that Lebron will pass guys like Magic Johnson or Oscar Robertson.

So media freaks, (espn), quit bringing up Jordan!
