Magic probably was a better teammate, but I think Michael expected so much out of his teammates, and they just made their game go up really high. And when they couldn’t deliver, they always knew Jordan would seal the deal for them almost everytime.

So, I say Jordan is a slightly better leader than Magic.

Jordan by far.. sure Magic Johnson was a phenom, but Michael Jordan was the best to ever play.. EVER. Nobody will even compare to Jordan.. He is and always be the better leader, he lead his team to the finals over and over again, came out of retirement and did it 3 more times in a row.. The only player to be ever considered for the best is MJ himself.

magic for sure.. and if you watched Micheal Jordon’s induction into the hall of fame… and heard him speak??? Magic is also the bigger and better man. Jordon looked like what he is.. a conceited oaf!

The other MJ – Magic Johnson……Jordan was by far the better player, but it took him awhile to really mesh with his team mates off the court. Magic had the respect of team as soon as he walked on – they would’ve taken a bullet for him.

Jordan didn’t really become a great LEADER until he came back from his first retirement (baseball)…….

I don’t know. Magic to me was able to convince his players that they could win. Jordan commanded to his teammates to win. You decide, Magic directed the chorus while Jordan was the drill sergeant. Two different leadership styles. Imma roll with Jordan.

Magic was. He actually made his team better, hell the guy average like 10 assists per game. That’s getting your team involved. Michael Jordan, to me was just plain selfish. He wanted it all. Honestly the only reason the Bulls became champs was because the Bulls were a good team with or without MJ. Dropping on 2 games when Mike left, it makes it clear that they did not have to depend on him. When Magic left the Lakers dropped 15 games! So obviously the better leader was Magic.

I would say Magic, because he’s a point guard, and teh point gaurd is always the leader, but Michael is still the G.O.A.T.

Magic for sure. Not only because the PG runs the offense, but Magic was the ultimate team player. Jordan had more talent which gave him the edge over Magic, but as far as leadership, there is none better than Magic.
